 Important Info

  • On the day of the wedding, we will arrange transport to and from the venue from a few select pickup points. We will provide further info closer to the date.

    INTERNATIONAL ARRIVALS:

    Toulouse-Blagnac Airport (TLS)
    major international airport
~1 hr 45 min from Montréal

    Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport (BOD)
more suitable to UK and EU arrivals
~2 hrs 15 min from Montréal

    Something to consider:

Our wonderful local wedding planner, Clémentine, mentioned that flights into Barcelona are often much cheaper than into Toulouse. From Barcelona, you can either take a train or enjoy a scenic drive by car. Toulouse is about a 4-hour drive away and the route passes through several areas we’ve highlighted in our travel guide. The direct route to Montréal from Barcelona is approximately 500 km.

    TRAIN STATIONS:

    Agen (TGV Station)
High-speed trains from Paris (3.5–4 hrs)
~1 hr 15 min drive to Montréal

    Auch
    Regional trains from Toulouse
    ~50 min drive to Montréal

  • We absolutely adore your little ones.

Our wedding will be focused on giving adults a chance to relax, enjoy great food and wine, and dance the night away without the added responsibility of childcare. That said, we know many of you will be travelling a long way, so children are warmly welcome to join if needed.

To make things easier for families, we’ve arranged trusted babysitters who will be on hand during the wedding to entertain and care for your kids, allowing parents to enjoy the evening worry-free.

  • We know that you will put your best foot forward and look incredible.

For the ladies, much of the wedding evening will be spent on gravel so please be mindful of your shoes.

Don’t forget to bring your swimmers for the pool party!

  • We cannot tell you how grateful we are that you have chosen to celebrate this day with us. Please, come with a party spirit and love in your hearts; our greatest gift will be the memories we create together!

  • We will be sending our official wedding invitations in early 2026. They will contain all the info you need to RSVP so please check back in again once you have received our invitation.

  • Julia: +61 (0) 451 559 855

    Stephen: +61 (0) 417 101 845

  • We met in Melbourne in 2014 at a birthday party (thanks for the intro, Freddie!), discovered that we were basically neighbours, and moved in together within three months because Julia was looking for a way to cut her rent in half (very romantic).

A Frenchman with a love of music and good wine, and a German with a love of spreadsheets and good cheese. Somehow, it worked and so less than a year later, Julia was already (very optimistically) teaching Stephen how to ask her mother for her hand in German. And over 11 years later (as of August 2025), she’s still waiting…

For at least eight of those years, many of you have heard Julia confidently declare that “next year” would be “the year.” So, to put an end to all that, she’s gone ahead and planned the wedding—engagement or not.
Stephen, with his usual grace, has accepted his fate and is tagging along.

    My Love
...is what Julia usually calls Stephen. Unless he’s in trouble.

    Kröte
Like most things said in a French accent, petit crapaud sounded cute and endearing—so Julia embraced it for years. Until she eventually found out Stephen had been calling her a “little toad.” Or, in German: Kröte.

It stuck. And now, many of you know her by no other name.

    Gorko (GOR-kah)
Gorko means “bitter” in Russian. During weddings, it’s a traditional chant from the guests, encouraging the couple to kiss—symbolising their promise to face life’s challenges together and to find sweetness in their union.

The louder and more often you shout it, the more the newlyweds are expected to kiss.
So don’t be shy: be the first to shout it—or join in whenever you hear it!

    Did You Know
Stephen absolutely loves a boogie. He’s also incredibly musically gifted and, with the right amount of wine, can pick up just about any instrument. His favourites are the piano and guitar. In fact, he’s so good, sometimes the piano even plays itself—check out a few of his private little concerts below.

Also, consider this your formal challenge: if Michael Jackson comes on, get ready. He will come alive on the dance floor.
